Hospitable for people with disabilities

The municipality of Utrecht developed an accessibility menu. The card is intended as a tool for catering entrepreneurs. They can be even more hospitable to people with disabilities. It is a collection of handles, tips, tricks and useful links. This does not mean that it is a perfect or complete collection.

Recognition, tips and information

There are many different types of physical, psychological and intellectual disabilities. Remember that everyone is different. The most important tip is: approach everyone as an individual and feel free to ask what someone needs. The 'menu card' contains a lot of tips and background information.
